Carrie Bradshaw meets Bridget Jones meets Jon Bon Jovi! Steamy sex scenes along with a classic love story, great writing and great music. Set in quintessential 1980s NYC.

Makes me wanna be Julia! What great characters, what great descriptive talents, what a great book! I loved it. Don’t want to give away the plot (don’t think reviewers should) but its a great story of ‘normal’ meeting ‘famous’ and something clicking. I stayed up until 3am to finish it…would Julia and Jack end up where they should? Would Patrick pull yet another shenanigan? Whose blonde hair was that? I was young in the era of this book, and it took me back! If you enjoy an intelligent author, and characters, you need to read this. I think the book is under-priced!

A wonderful, nostalgic read that I could not put down! Engaging and funny, I was raised in Hell’s Kitchen so this story resonated with me! I threw the key down so friends can come up, I huffed up five flights of stairs and of course I frequented the many clubs and dives that are now iconic! I loved Julia’s struggle with her job, wardrobe and love! Dot was a blast and really had a powerful role in the story at the end. The chemistry between Jack and Julia was hot and the sex was awesome! A great read for anyone who knows NYC back in the day and there’s a great romance tied in too! I really enjoyed this book!
